Dr Vanessa completed a Postgraduate Doctor of Medicine through Griffith University in 2015. She has varied experience across a multitude of hospital disciplines working at a Registrar level in both Adult and Paediatric Medicine at Gold Coast University Hospital, The Tweed Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital & Hervey Bay Hospital. She found her passion for General Practice and joined the college in 2020, completing her Fellowship in 2024.
Dr Vanessa obtained a wealth of foundational knowledge through her hospital Adult Medicine rotations to confidently support people of all ages with Chronic Condition. She has furthered her studies in Paediatric & Adolescent medicine by completing the Graduate Diploma in Child Health (GDCH). Additionally, she has completed the Gold Coast GP Maternity Shared Care Alignment Program to support her passion in Antenatal Care.

Dr Annelies Geissler

Dr Annelies Geissler trained at Flinders University and graduated in 1997. Qualifications now include FRACGP, FARGP, DFFP ( Uk), DRANZCOG. Annelies is a Principal and GP Supervisor at the Easy T Medical centre in Robina. Annelies is passionate about women’s health and has additional qualifications in Mirena and Implanon insertion and has been inserting Mirena’s since 2009. She is interested in all contraception, menopause and HRT and Antenatal care.
Annelies also enjoys paediatrics and has done additional Possums training and can help counsel patients regarding breast feeding attachment, cry/ fuss issues and sleep in infants.
Annelies does iron infusions for all appropriate patients including pregnant patients.
Annelies enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a special focus on patient wellbeing and preventative health.

Dr Nancy Liu
General Practitioner Registrar
Dr Nancy Liu is a locally trained doctor who obtained her Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University before completing three years of residency at the Gold Coast University Hospital. She has a varied interest in all aspects of healthcare, particularly in Women’s health, preventative medicine, chronic diseases and palliative care. She also has a special interest in managing patients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and is bilingual in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Originally from Sydney, Dr Nancy enjoys cooking, journaling and trying new restaurants and cafes around the Gold Coast.

Dr Alice Hawes
Specialist General Practitioner
Dr Alice is an Australian born general practitioner who consults at Easy T and Robina Town Medical Centres. She chose to specialise in general practice after seeing her father’s health decline in the absence of having a regular GP. Dr Alice has a broad interest in general practice including ear microsuction, childrens health, womens health, skin checks, chronic disease management, and lifestyle modifications. She hopes that her patients feel genuinely cared for and listened to as she works towards a diagnosis or their goals
Prior to attaining her Fellowship qualification from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Dr Alice worked at the Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals, gaining significant experience in surgery, ENT, emergency, obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health and general medicine.
Dr Alice completed her medical studies on the Gold Coast, following on from a pharmacy degree in Brisbane. She attained first class honours and university medals for both her degrees.
When she is not seeing patients, you will probably find Dr Alice riding her bike, singing a Taylor Swift song or caring for her four children.

Dr Luke Ward

Dr Luke Ward has a strong interest in the optimisation of chronic disorders such heart, lung and kidney disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
His patients recommend him for his positive, encouraging attitude and warm approach to their care.
He completed medical school in 2010 and gained a wealth of hospital medicine experience at Robina and Gold Coast University Hospitals for over 5 years.
Dr Ward now works in Robina Town Medical Centre. When not seeing patients you can find him with his sons at swim class, cycling the Broadwater or walking his dog at The Spit.

Dr Lisa Beecham

Dr Lisa Beecham trained in Queensland at University of Queensland.
She undertook post graduate training in Royal Children’s hospital in Brisbane spending 4 years doing paediatrics before undertaking specialist GP training with RACGP in Queensland.
Dr Beecham now works at Robina Town Medical Centre and is Board Chair Director for GCPHN.
Her areas of interest include paediatrics ( Children and adolescent medicine, Out of home care medicine) , chronic disease management ( Diabetes, Asthma, Chronic Kidney Disease and COPD, Mental Health, and Skin cancer medicine.
She has done extra training in Paediatrics ( 4 years at Royal Children’s hospital), Mental Health special skills training, Cultural training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander First Nation people, and Women’s health Implanon insertion certified.
She has been a past Chairwoman of GPGC and now is a Board Chair of GCPHN to help drive local area health improvements.
When not seeing patients, Dr Beecham loves to sail having competed in many offshore races and cruising many miles, even sailing to Antartica!
