I was trained in Myanmar, got my MBBS in 1979.
I completed my postgraduate training in Rockhampton Hospital for FRACRRM.
I am currently working at Robina Medical and Dental Clinic.
My passion is aged care and Palliative care and I have completed a Diploma in Palliative Medicine.
My other interests are gardening and travelling.
Dr Jay trained in the UK at the University of Leeds. He relocated to Australia in 2020 and now works in Robina ForHealth Medical Centre.
His areas of interest include women health, sexual health, child health and diabetes.
He has done extra training in diabetes with the University of Queensland, contraception with True family planning clinic and a sexual health diploma in the UK.
When not seeing patients, Dr Kotecha can be found tutoring medical students at Bond University.
His hobbies include tennis and spending time with his young family at the beach.
