Dr Kat McLean is an experienced GP who combines her clinical work with medical education and medical leadership roles.
After training in New Zealand Dr McLean made the move across the Tasman in 2011, she settled with her family on the Gold Coast.
Her special interests are listed below, and whilst a true ‘generalist’ who enjoys all aspects of general Practice Dr McLean has a particular passion for Antenatal care and Women’s and Children’s health.
Dr Mclean was born and raised in rural New Zealand and studied Medicine at the University of Otago. She has worked in diverse range of settings. Dr McLean is actively involved with a number of professional organisations, including the the Australian Medical Association, Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Gold Coast Medical Association.
Dr McLean is the current Chair of the Board of General Practice Gold Coast.
