Dr Sushma Naik trained in Queensland, to be a General Practitioner. After attaining her primary medical degree from India, she achieved her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology which lead to a move to the UK to further her experience. During her work in the UK she gained exceptional experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Mental health and Paediatrics.
Dr Naik, now works in Christine Avenue medical centre, Varsity lakes.
Her areas of interest include women’s health, paediatrics, chronic disease management, mental health.

She has done extra training in skin cancer management, and is an accredited skin cancer doctor with the Skin cancer college of Australasia.
Dr Naik is well experienced in women’s health performing procedures such as Mirena insertion and removal, Implanon insertion and removal, as well as contraceptive advice.
She is able to communicate in 3 Languages: English, Hindi, Kannada.
In her spare time she enjoys music. She believes in practising medicine with an open mind and a willingness to learn every day, so as to be able see things in a different light, while appreciating the interconnectivity of mankind at all times.
