Dr. Liesbeth completed her medical degree at Catholic University of Leuven in 2010 and specialist GP training at Leiden University in the Netherlands in 2014. She worked as a GP in the Netherlands for nine years before moving to Australia in 2022, where she worked in regional Toowoomba and completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr. Liesbeth enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and supporting them through all stages of life. She has a special interest in women’s health, including contraception, fertility, family planning, (peri) menopause care, and weight management. She also provides travel medicine advice including yellow fever vaccination, children’s health care, antenatal care, breastfeeding support, chronic disease management and preventive health care. She is a lactation consultant and a member of the Breastfeeding Medicine Network Australia/New Zealand.
She performs procedures including IUD(mirena,kyleena and copper) and contraceptive implant insertions and removals, suturing, wedge excisions, and treatment of ingrown toenails.
