Dr Joel Carmody trained at the University of Sydney and at various hospitals around Sydney as a junior doctor.
He then worked for the ADF (Australian Regular Army) while completing training as a GP in Darwin and later Brisbane.
Since leaving full-time military service, he has since moved down to the Gold Coast with family and practices as a GP.
Dr Joel’s special interests include veterans/DVA and skin cancer management – for which he has completed extra training through the University of QLD
