Dr Jennifer Parer graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991.
She has a special interest in women’s health and gained her diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1994.
She loves the Gold Coast and has been practising here as a GP since 1996.
Her other special interests include mental health, addiction medicine and preventative holistic health care.
In 2017 Dr Parer in collaboration with her husband opened Gunnebah Addiction Retreat in Nobbys Creek NSW of which she is the Medical Director.
Since February 2022 Dr Parer is working exclusively in Addiction Medicine at Gunnebah Addiction Retreat.
When not seeing patients, Dr Parer can be found reading, hiking, travelling (when allowed), entertaining friends & family at home or spending time with her husband and 6 children.
