Dr Huey Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery & Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) from International Medical University, Malaysia in 2013 and worked for 3 years as a Medical Officer in Malaysia before moving to Australia in 2016. She worked as a Senior House Officer in a number of hospital rotations such as General Surgery, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology, Mental Health and Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Queensland before pursuing her desire to become a GP. Dr Huey Lee had practiced as a GP in NSW and as a VMO at Narrabri District Hospital.
She is a member of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and The Australian Medical Acupuncture College.
She is multi-lingual and can communicate in English, Malay, Mandarin and other Chinese dialects.
The ability to provide continuity of care to patients is what inspired Dr Lee to become a GP. Like most primary care physician, she is also keen to treat and manage various chronic medical conditions. Dr Lee is passionate and is looking forward to serving the community with the skills and knowledge that she had attained.
During her free time, Dr Lee enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dogs in Gold Coast.
Her regular practice days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
