Dr Cobie Powell grew up on the Gold Coast where she pursued her interest in health by completing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science followed by completing medical training (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
She now works up Tamborine Mountain at Tamborine Mountain Medical Practice part time; splitting her time between clinical practice and Medical Education. Her areas of interest include Pregnancy care, Women’s Health and Paediatrics; but she enjoys treating a wide and diverse range of medical issues including complex medical conditions.
She has done extra training in Paediatrics by completing her Diploma of Child Health.
When not seeing patients Dr Powell can be found spending quality time with her growing family.
