Dr Stacey Ler is a local GP who grew up on the Gold Coast. She has a keen interest in medical education and currently mentors Griffith and Bond University medical students and conducts External Clinical Teaching (ECT) sessions with GP registrar trainees. She has an interest in all areas of general practice, particularly in women and children’s health, geriatrics, diabetes and travel medicine.
Dr Ler is also a strong advocate for General Practice on the Gold Coast and was a GPGC board. She also serves as a GP representative on the Gold Coast Public Health Network (GCPHN) Clinical Council, Primary Health Care Improvement Committee (PHCIC) and Communications for Safety Committee at Gold Coast University Hospital. She is passionate about improving primary health care and clinical handover between primary, secondary and tertiary health systems.
