Dr Luke Ward is a GP based in Robina, he is a fellow of the RACGP.
Dr Ward is passionate about continuing medical education, he presents regularly to his colleagues on the most recent advances in diabetes and obesity management, the management of emergencies in general practice, and financial topics of general practice.
His interests include optimising outcomes for the most at-risk groups in the community, including those with complex and chronic care needs, and those from diverse backgrounds.
Dr Ward cherishes his experience and time caring for patients of indigenous background and of refugee status in Cairns from 2019-2020.
He is currently a director (serving as Treasurer) and founding member of Oceania Pacific Health Association, a not-for-profit organisation aimed at improving the health of Pacific people in the region.
Dr Ward is currently involved in training GP registrars.  He has over 5 years experience with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine with most of his time spent in the Gold Coast and Robina Hospitals.
